Vacheron & Constantin "Cornes de Vache" Triple Calendar with Moon Phase Manual in 18K Gold on Leather Strap

An interesting detail about Vacheron & Constantin during the decades of the 50's and 60's is that their output was incredibly limited. It is estimated during this time only 300 watches were manufactured. This is a result of a manufacture that was more focused on outstanding quality over quantity. Pictured is a ref. 4461 which is a triple calendar with moon phases as well as featuring windows for day and month as well as an outer track for the date. The case work of the watch is fantastic encompassing the "Cornes de Vache" lug design that is very much attributed to the manufacture. To put it simply the attention to detail is great and all to fit the 33mm diameter.
